Close of registration: Standard registration (with accompanying payment) will close online at midnight on Tuesday 12 March 2024.

 

Registration: Only the person registered and named on the conference name badge may attend.  Registrations may not be split, i.e. you cannot purchase a Full Conference Registration and send different people on each day and/or share one name badge.

 

Cancellations, Refunds and Changes Policy: Once you have completed your registration and received your confirmation email, fees may apply for cancellations and/or changes.  

 

All cancellation or transfer requests must be received in writing to via the Contact us page

 

CANCELLATION CHANGES

 

Conference registration: Cancellations received before 11:59pm on Tuesday 12 March 2024 will be subject to an administrative fee of A$150 + GST per group/family of linked registrations.

 

Cancellations received on or after Wednesday 13 March 2024 are non-refundable.

 

Transfer of conference registration to the same category (name change) will be accepted until 5:00pm on Tuesday 19 March 2024 and will not incur any charge. After this time, transfers to the same category will be subject to an administrative fee of A$150 + GST. 

 

If the registration category changes to a more expensive one, any fee difference will be due within 7 days, along with an administrative fee of A$150 + GST.

 

If the registration category changes to a less expensive one, a refund of the difference will be made within 7 days less an administrative fee of A$150 + GST. 

 

Accommodation: All accommodation bookings are subject to 30 day cancellation. For any accommodation cancellations after Monday 11 March 2024 you will incur 100% cancellation costs as per the hotel commitment. If you choose to extend with the hotel and then need to cancel, you are responsible for checking the cancellation terms with the hotel at time of booking. 

 

Registration Card Surcharge

All registrations are processed via Stripe, a third party website. Each transaction is subject to a card surcharge. There is a $0.30 surcharge per transaction, in addition Visa & Mastercard hold a 1.7% surcharge per transaction. Diners and AMEX hold a 2% surcharge per transaction.

 

New Homes Consultants registrations

All registrations for New Homes Consultants open in January 2024 when notified. After the 2023 calendar year data is analysed for eligibility of the Platinum Sales Club, individual invitations will be sent to those who qualify. For all other New Homes Consultants who wish to attend the 2024 International Conference, there will then be an early bird special rate for those who wish to pay to attend after consultation and approval from their Franchise Owner.

For any New Homes Consultants who register and pay before advised in January 2024, there will be no refunds if you qualify for the Platinum Sales Club.

 

Privacy: The Information Privacy Act 2009 provides that you must give your consent before your name and contact information can be published on the conference delegate list, for distribution to fellow delegates or any other party, you must give your consent. If you DO NOT wish to have your name, address and details included in the list of delegates, you must indicate this during your registration. G.J. Gardner Homes will take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is not exposed to misuse, loss or unauthorised access. At any event held by G.J. Gardner Homes and Synergy Effect, your image may be photographed or filmed at any time throughout the event. We may use, publish or reproduce your image or recording of you in any form of published communication material to promote our services and to report on its events through its publications and resource material such as our e-bulletins, website and direct email campaigns etc. Your consent to the use of your image in full or part for any G.J. Gardner Homes and Synergy Effect-related purpose is taken to be given by attending this event. Should you not wish to have your image photographed or filmed, please contact us via the contact us page to advise that you do not wish to be photographed or filmed. No cardholder details are stored by G.J. Gardner Homes. We use Stripe as our secure payment gateway. 

 

COVID CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Accommodation and Registrations COVID Cancellation Policy: In the event that guests are unable to attend the G.J. Gardner Homes International Conference 2024, for reasons due to government mandated restrictions guests will receive a full refund on their accommodation booking and conference fee. 

 

Refund requests due to COVID travel restrictions will be assessed 7 days prior to the event and full refund of monies will be credited after the conference dates of 16-19 April 2024.

 

Government restrictions include but are not limited to border closures and travel restrictions beyond any party’s control. 

 

Airfare COVID Cancellation Policy: Guests are responsible for checking their individual airlines cancellation policies.

 

Program Disclaimer: G.J. Gardner Homes reserves the right to alter, amend, vary or otherwise change the program at any time as circumstances dictate without further notice to registered delegates. Every effort will be made to provide a program of equivalent standard and value.

 

Accommodation Disclaimer: Advertised accommodation is subject to availability. Bookings are made independently by you, and it is your responsibility to check the property’s booking and cancellation terms. G.J. Gardner Homes and Synergy Effect take no responsibility for your accommodation bookings or associated fees.

 

Insurance Disclaimer: Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is required that at the time you register for the Conference and book your travel you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice. We recommend the policy include (1) loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference; (2) loss through cancellation of the Conference; (3) loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason including force majeure, medical expenses, loss or damage to person or property, additional expenses; and (4) repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. G.J. Gardner Homes and Synergy Effect cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange his or her own insurance.

 

Unofficial Events: G.J. Gardner Homes will not permit any organisation that is not a sponsor of the conference to host any kind of event during or around the conference, using the conference delegates. G.J. Gardner Homes will not permit any organisation, whether they are a sponsor of the conference or not, to host any kind of invitation only or private event during or around the conference, using the conference delegates, that has not been booked and advertised through G.J. Gardner Homes.

 

Suitcasing: Suitcasing will not be tolerated. Any organisation who is not a sponsor of or exhibitor at the conference is NOT permitted to openly market products/services during the conference. This does not include conversing, handing out business cards/networking with delegates. It does include handing out any form of marketing material for products/services of the organisation and/or verbally marketing services and/or making appointments to meet with delegates. Clothing branded in any way with identifying organisation logos or text is not permitted to be worn during the conference or its functions by any delegate who is not a sponsor or exhibitor.
