Social Activities

Inspired by the Gold Coast's vibrant entertainment precinct, we've designed a range of fun and interactive social activities for your teams and family.

From the retro era of the 1950's Gold Coast, to a costume party to end them all at Movie World and all the glitz and glamour of this year's Gala Dinner Awards, we know you're knowing to love this year's social activities.

Registration desk and name badges

Our conference registration desk will be located in The Star Events Centre.

Name badges will be provided for all delegates, partners and children and will need to be worn for all conference events and social activities, with the exception of the Gala Awards Dinner on Friday night.

Please ensure you pick up your name badge and conference pack prior to attending any sessions or social events.

Registration opening times:

Tuesday 16 April :12pm - 5pm

Wednesday 17 April: 7.30am - 10.30am

 

Partner & Family Activities

The Gold Coast has so much to offer. Partners and family members not attending the conference sessions, will be spoiled for choice for local sightseeing, shopping, tours and activities.

Transfers

Transfers have been arranged for the following:

Tuesday 16 April - Departing Gold Coast airport from 9am to 5pm. Shuttle buses will depart every 30mins to The Star.

Saturday 20 April - Departing from The Star to Gold Coast airport from 7am to 10:30am. Shuttle buses will depart every 30mins to the Gold Coast airport.

However if you are arriving and departing on any other dates or other airports, please organise your own airport transfers. Recommendations are below:

 

CON-X-ION Booking Link

Passengers can book transfers at the Con-X-Ion Airport Desk.
Hours: 10:00 - 17:00 daily.

 

Taxis

A taxi rank is conveniently located at the southern end of the terminal, outside the domestic arrivals area at Gold Coast Airport.

Ride Share Bookings

For pre booked customers, the ride share pick up point is located at the northern end of the Terminal, outside the departures area at Gold Coast Airport.
